Friday, 17 April 2020, Northamptonshire: PRESS RELEASE
The inaugural Auto Royale and British International Concours d’Elegance event, originally due to take place this July, has been rescheduled to summer 2021 due to the international impact of COVID-19.
Paul Mathers, Director at Marque II events said: “We have been encouraged and humbled by the support we have received from car collectors, sponsors and exhibitors. It is for them that we have pushed so hard, and so optimistically, to commit to our July dates for Auto Royale. However, out of respect for our supporters and the ongoing efforts to deal with the pandemic, we have made the
difficult decision to reschedule the inaugural Auto Royale until summer 2021. The health and well-being of everyone involved in Auto Royale remains the priority and we just cannot continue during the current extraordinary circumstances.”
“While we are disappointed, this is the responsible decision to make at a time when our country along with the rest of the world is facing this crisis. All visitors who have purchased tickets will be provided with a full refund. I would like to thank our supporters and wish them well at this difficult time and we look forward to celebrating the very best of motoring together at Auto Royale in 2021. We are
determined and motivated to put on a great show next year.”

SVA Says: We fully understand the hugely difficult decision this was for Paul, Ben and the team. The cost aside, I know the folks at MIIM were concerned about the spreading of Covid 19 when by July, the country should have been in full and fast recovery.. The SVA will be not only attending but showing at the event in 2021. We wholeheartedly recommend that businesses across the UK and wider World use this event to help your own promote your own brands..
Be well all. Martyn Raybould MD
