SVA Member Richard Aucock of Motoring Research gives us the view on the events of 2020, On, Postponed or re-scheduled or Cancelled. Very sadly we know the inaugural Auto Royale Althorp was cancelled due to Covid-19 pressures and the lockdown. The required advance planning and cost of transporting highly valuable and important cars as well as diary planning meant it became a wise but disappointing event cancellation.
The 2020 motoring events calendar has been thrown up in the air due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. Organisers of events for car enthusiasts are already postponing events or announcing rescheduled dates.
Here, we aim to highlight some of the UK’s biggest and best car shows and motorsport events of the year, along with any revised dates as they are announced.
