SVA Says: What an excellent year for the Goodwood Revival 2019 meeting last weekend, this is a regular event for my wife and I usually in suitable period garb. This year though with the launch of the SVA it was a working weekend and what a weekend it was, the weather Gods were kind and each day was warmer than the last, culminating in a blistering Sunday of dress, stunning metal and great track activity. I even spotted this rare to see Jowett Javelin full kitted track car, these remarkable cars were only made for around 8 years until 1954 and were shipped all over the globe to be found running still!
My thanks to our friends Jack & Paul Keery and Co, from Sunny Florida they came to see us for an enjoyable Friday at the event and Saturday night dinner. Serious enthusiasts and Motoring businesses in the USA, the crew came to the UK for an entire week of motoring related activities including a visit to the Beaulieu Motor Museum collection. https://www.beaulieu.co.uk/attractions/national-motor-museum/
My thanks to Keith Pershing, one of the above and Owner-Operator of Island Automotive www.islandautomotive.com in Florida. Keith is a most unassuming and modest individual which belies his consummate skill as a restorer and workshop engineer for some of the US’s most stunning cars.

A big thank you also to the many exhibiting businesses with whom I chatted at the show and spoke about the SVA, their continued positive feedback about our platform, its benefits for business and their agreement to join us continues to show we are getting it right. Becoming a member of the SVA is completely free of any charge and in 1 year just £99 to continue as a member to enjoy the benefits..
