SVA Says: I am very familiar with the ‘Cavalier’ as a car, having enjoyed some 4 incarnations in my years as a Sales Manager throughout the 80’s and early 90’s.. It all started with my time at Carlsberg-Tetley and being provided with a silver 2.0 GL, over the years that was updated fairly regularly and despite options of Fords, Nissan’s and VW cars it always came back to a Cavalier. The last one being a rather special GLS sport model. It was a great car and ultra reliable, given I was driving some 20,000 miles a year, my Cavalier being eventually replaced with a Vectra SRi, Red and with full skirting! Now we were talking! It was my last Vauxhall car but all fondly remembered..
