The Cigar City Concours d’Elegance would like to express our appreciation to all participants, sponsors and spectators that joined us for the Second Annual Concours d’Elegance in 2019. Tampa Bay Downs will once again serve as the venue for the Third Annual Concours d’Elegance. We will be updating the website in the coming weeks on the 2021 event and very much look forward to welcoming old friends and new from around the World
‘Concours d’Elegance’ is a term of French origin that means a “competition of elegance” and refers to an event where prestigious vehicles are displayed and judged. Cigar City is a moniker bestowed on Tampa and Ybor City reflecting the rich history and culture of the area.
The Cigar City Concours d’Elegance is proud to continue the prominence of such a rich history with the presentation of the third annual Concours d’Elegance on the grounds of Tampa Bay Downs. The Concours field will display rare, unusual and unique antique, classic and special interest automobiles garnered from museums, private collections and individual owners.
Submit your vehicle to participate
The Cigar City Concours d’Elegance does not charge a registration fee to participants. We do request that all participants bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots, one of the four charities we support because our community is an important and integral part of what we do.
To submit your vehicle for inclusion in the third annual Concours d’Elegance please provide the following:
- Name
- Address
- Preferred Contact Phone Number
- Vehicle Year / Make / Model
- Minimum of 3 photos: exterior / interior / engine
- Any points of special interest about the vehicle

The 2021 Cigar City Concours d’Elegance “Decades of Dazzle” will feature significant vehicles from around the world, spanning over a century of automotive advancement including museum quality restorations, preserved originals and heirloom vehicles in 4 distinct judged classes:
- Concours – significant museum quality vehicles from the early 1900’s to present day
- Survivors – vehicles maintained as original and utilized on a regular basis as well as heirloom vehicles
- Period Correct Hot Rods, Customs & Muscle Cars – from 1932 to 1975
- Pre and Post WWII Foreign – Sports and Luxury vehicles
In addition to the judged Concours classes, the event will also present non-judged automotive displays:
- Previous Cigar City Concours d’Elegance 1st Place award winners
- Dream Cars of the Past – a selection of those cars we’ve lusted after

The third annual Cigar City Concours d’Elegance will be celebrating two Marques of Distinction, Cadillac and LaSalle motorcars. the Cadillac Automobile Company was established by Henry Leland in 1902, producing cars at the Henry Ford Company factory at Cass Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Leland named the car after the French explorer Antoine Laumet de La Mothe, sieur de Cadillac, who had founded Detroit in 1701.

The Cigar City Concours d’Elegance will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 13 – 14, 2021 at Tampa Bay Downs. This is a paid event for spectators. Ticket price is still $24.95 per person, and convenient parking is included. Tickets will be available online mid-Summer. The Concours will open to spectators at 10AM. Tampa Bay Downs will have concessions for food and drink, including adult beverages, both on the Concours field and inside the Clubhouse. Shuttle service to the Clubhouse will run continually.
