The DB2 was found in a barn near Portsmouth in 2003, alongside a DB2/4 Mk I. The DB2/4 was sold to a customer in Belgium and the DB2 was fully restored into a highly competitive FIA specification race car. The car is still run by DJR Classics and is competed by David and his daughter Hannah.

From intermediate oil change services right up to comprehensive major work, we’ve got you covered. All our servicing is catered to your requirements and carried out using high-quality parts, lubricants and sundries. And during every service, we’ll carry out a full inspection to make sure there are no further faults. No additional work will happen without your full authorisation.
DJR Classics has experience in preparing classic Aston Martins for competitive race, rally, sprint and hill climbs – from DB2s to DB6s.
Preparation can involve enhancing your road car to perform better during daily use, or fully modifying race cars for international circuit competitions following FIA regulations. We also offer race support to look after your car after it is built.
