National Motor Museum Beaulieu

The perfect visitor attraction for both car enthusiasts and families
Palace House the home of one of the Worlds most important collections and so much more…

Beaulieu is an award-winning visitor attraction that features Palace House, home of the Montagu family and Abbey Ruins containing an exhibition of monastic life as well as extensive grounds and gardens to enjoy. It is also home to the world-famous National Motor Museum featuring over 250 vehicles and motoring memorabilia as well as hosting a range of motoring and family events including Supercar Weekend, International Autojumble and countless car rallies throughout the year.

The 800 year old Abbey was founded by King John in the 13th Century before being destroyed on the orders of King Henry VIII in 1538.

Owing to the efforts of generations of the Montagu family, the now tranquil Abbey is a conserved ruin where generations of visitors have enjoyed its peaceful setting and appreciated the achievements of its medieval builders. Part of the Abbey is given over to the delightfully appointed and regularly used Domus, a grand hall used from time to time to welcome and entertain members of the Beaulieu 100 club. The Domus is also a perfect wedding venue, for more details go to the main Beaulieu website link above.

SVA says:

SVA members have an invitation to join the Beaulieu 100 Private members Club:The National Motor Museum Trust has what is probably the most exclusive club in the sector and Beaulieu One Hundred Club Members have the benefit of knowing that their payment is put directly into maintaining the Trust collection.  Beaulieu 100 lapel badges say a lot more about the owner than other similar items, while Fellow member Nick Mason called it “probably one of the smallest, yet most distinguished, car clubs in the world.” He’s right – limited to only 100 members, and littered with a who’s who of motoring names, from Murray Walker and Bernie Ecclestone through to Chris Harris and many other luminaries in the classic and autosport world. Each season ends with a black tie dinner and reception sometimes in the National Motor Museum itself where only members and their guests are invited.

As an SVA member you are invited to discuss membership…As a member myself, I was pleased to attend many B100 exclusive tours and events, from Aston and McLaren headquarters to trips to Goodwood and Sunseeker powerboats, then even a summer dinner at the Houses of Parliament overlooking the Thames . Visit www.beaulieuonehundred.com  For more details contact Heather Jackson: heather.jackson@beaulieu.co.uk and mention your SVA membership..
