Salon Prive Blenheim Palace 2022. Sponsored by Aviva and a collection of leading brands, what a fantastic show it was! Our thanks to organising PR Director Rebecca Leppard for arranging our attendance at the show.

This is the 7th of the Salon events at the world-beating Blenheim Palace as the backdrop, but the 3rd for me. And this event in 2022 was by far the best, and that was only the Press and PR day!

Salon Prive Blenheim is probably the most expensive event in the UK calendar, but there is a good reason for that. The event is in the same group importance as Amelia Island USA, Chantilly Arts et Elegance France, Goodwood Festival of Speed UK, and Pebble Beach USA. Events for enthusiasts, serious collectors, very serious traders and ‘Investorcollectors’. Those with pockets so deep, there is no depth to the wallet bottom limiting the budget.

The backdrop of Blenheim Palace

Having the event location of Blenheim Palace means your starting with a location that blows you away as you approach the building, then you park your car among some of the best cars in the world. My lowly but much loved Mercedes E350 125, parked up next to a Mclaren, a Ferrari, a Rolls Royce Wraith and an ever present Range Rover Vogue.

We think the ‘official’ description says it all. ‘Blenheim Palace is a country house in Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England. It is the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough and the only non-royal, non-episcopal country house in England to hold the title of palace’. Nuff Said!

With lots of Exhibitors and some fine dining available, there was lots to see and do outside of the metal of sublime cars! From Helicopers for the person who has everything, to hand blended perfumes and hand built electric cars.

Salon Prive 2023

The event in 2023 will no doubt already be in the planning stages, but wherever and whatever the show will host and display we will be planning on attending! Its a superb show and while it doesnt have the thrills of Revival or Festival of Speed, it will be without doubt the single best place outside of the USA to see up close and personal the world’s most beautiful metal!
