Terms & Conditions of Membership
The SVA is a Trade body working in support of you its members, we are NOT a regulatory body. Our founding principles are to help members drive business and increase visitor footfall generally, so you do more business at the lowest cost possible. Members are free to join for 1 year then pay an annual renewal fee of just £99GBP each future year.
The SVA will make an effort to ensure all information and services available on the site are accurate however, the site is a digital ‘portal’ and as such members can display content that we do not agree with, endorse or guarantee is accurate. Members should undertake their own due diligence when using, accessing or engaging in any aspect, contact or activity with other members or Founder Partners. The SVA wishes all members an enjoyable and rewarding relationship with us and our wider members however, it takes no responsibility where members interact with each other resulting in any dispute, altercation or other issue from those interactions. Where such matters occur the SVA reserves the right to remove members involved from its list without notice and within the Cancellation of Membership rules.
Use of images: The association will use images as provided to us, or taken from the members website for display on the page we will build on the members behalf. It is not possible for the Specialist Vehicle Association to qualify images as being permitted or authorised for use on your behalf and as such when completing our ‘Join Now’ application form, you are confirming that we are permitted to use such images displayed by us on yourweb page. It is the responsibility of you the member to pay any fees or licencing as required by a third party owner, such fees and licences should be paid for the entire period we may display them. Failure to pay such fees and licences will be the responsibility of the trade member.
The SVA is also a body created to network the sector together, by applying to be a member that member understands that its web address, contact details and information about that business will be available to view by the other members and the wider sector. If for any reason a specific requirement or limitation is needed please ensure this is agreed with the SVA prior to joining and that any alteration to the standard platform of displaying all information on members contact details is clearly requested and agreed in writing by the SVA before joining or renewing your membership.
Person in authority: It is not possible for the SVA to vet or check the empowerment of individuals and or staff applying to join the SVA as a member. As such it is accepted that where a new or renewed membership is made, that the person applying for or on behalf of the business is empowered to do so.
Cancellation of Membership: Members are free to cancel SVA membership at any time however, no payment for unused membership will be refundable as a result of a member cancelling their membership. The SVA reserves the right to cancel a membership and remove all content from that member without notice or recompense of membership fees, where it feels that the member has brought the SVA into any conflict, dispute or other which might not reflect well on the SVA or its members. Members who wish to cancel should email your request to martyn@specialistvehicleassociates.com informing us of your wish to leave the Association.
