We understand that Covid-19 is making all our lives somewhat more uncertain and challenging and that for some of you, classic cars are not necessarily your priority right now. We would like to take this opportunity to describe the measures we have taken and how we are operating at this time.
As with many predominantly-online businesses, we are able to continue on with much of our operation, we have reduced visitors to our offices to a minimum and have our staff working remotely where needed to minimise risk. With these measures we fully expect to continue operating at full service through the next weeks and months. So we hope that in this troubling period we can provide some positive cheer to some of you through our platform.
This week and last we have been in touch with many of our buyers and vendors and know that even in these challenging times there are people who would wish to sell their classic. We also know that people are looking to buy in a safe manner, which we are able to provide.
Our transparent listings, huge photo galleries, long descriptions as well as the ability to contact each and every vendor as much as you like may provide all the information that you need to bid remotely. We do accept that some people will want to view a car before bidding, so we promise all of our viewings are private, one-on-one events in a quiet environment which can be sensibly managed accordingly. If you would still rather not view in person then we can also run live video on smartphones of anything you would like to inspect remotely.
For those unwilling or unable to pick up their new purchase, we have a network of transport companies who can help with delivery, or we offer our storage partners who can keep the car safely for you until later in the year.
Our transparent approach has already helped us to achieve a 5-star TrustPilot rating over nearly 200 reviews and we hope to continue this trend over the coming weeks and months. We have seen a slight uplift in website traffic over the last week and will continue to monitor activity and recommendations throughout this tough period.
